J. Singer Architect is owned by Jason Singer. Jason, who is a registered architect in NY state, has been practicing the profession of architecture for over 20 years. He has worked on projects of all sizes and budgets, including commercial and residential work, new buildings, additions, renovations, conversions to new uses. These project types include office fit-ups, multi-family residential, single-family homes, restaurants, convenience stores, medical and dental offices, day care, retail buildings, church additions and others. Jason has developed an expertise in understanding the building code and what is required to achieve a successful project that meets all requirements. He is able to take a project from an owner’s initial idea, through feasibility review, weighing pros and cons, construction type factors, zoning and building code analysis, conceptual design and construction documentation, constantly checking in with the owner and confirming everyone is on the same page, moving the project in an optimal direction. Jason received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He loves what he does as an architect, enjoys the collaboration with his clients to understand what their goals are, to develop the most appropriate and thoughtful solution.
